Punjab School Education Board
The Punjab School Education Board came into being under an Act of Legislation in 1969, amended in 1987, 2000 and 2005.
(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Board shall exercise and perform the following powers and functions, namely :â€"
(i) prescribe the syllabi, courses of the studies and text books for school education;
(ii) organize reserach for grading of textual vocabulary and arrange for regular revision of text books and other books;
