Applications are invited from eligible male Indian citizens for filling up the following Group ‘C’ Combatised, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts in tradesmen cadres in SSB for the year 2010:

• Constables (Tradesman): 1022 Posts in the following trades:
• CT(Cook): 344 Posts
• CT(Washer man): 138 Posts
• CT(Barber): 81 Posts
• CT(Safaiwala): 171 Posts
• CT(Water Career): 127 Posts
• CT(Waiter): 07 Posts
• CT(Mason): 17 Posts
• CT(Carpenter): 42 Posts
• CT(Painter): 10 Posts
• CT(Plumber): 12 Posts
• CT(Black smith): 14 Posts
• CT(Tailor): 24 Posts
• CT(Cobbler): 25 Posts
• CT(Gardener): 10 Posts
• Pay Scale : (Pay Band â€" 1) : Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.
• Age: 18 to 23 years (Cut-off date for age will be 10-12-2010)
• Qualification:
• Matriculation or equivalent form a recognized Board or Institute. (8th Class pass for the ST Candidates of Mizoram State, Tirap and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh only) and
• Two years work experience in respective trade; OR
• One year certificate course from Indusial Training Institute/ Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the Trade ; OR
• Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.
• Must qualify trade test .
